I can't stand when kids like you bitch about the locked content on the disk... Did you ever think that the dlc areas were put in but locked until they created the content to do with it? We got more out of the dlc than any cod ever gave so quit your bitching

All good, in regards to your original comment though, why did you give the dlc 3/10? I'm curious because the dlc gave us more content than most other games do
-
I gave it points because it was larger, to include new musical pieces, more guns (including rares) and some story. It really lost out on points because the raid is soloable, it excluded non-purchasing players from what is already normal content (nightfall, weekly heroic, high tier strike list), it was supposed to fix the grevious story issues, and, assuming the release date of TDB and the assumed release of HoW, was supposed to last players 5 months, where the initial story only lasted 3. Unfortunately the expansion does place Destiny solidly as an RPG in development, so the expansion had to be placed against expansions of similar category. There for, it's competition is that of a Borderlands 2 dlc, than that of a CoD dlc.

Ha ha calls me a kid and then goes on a rant like a five year old lol lol lol..... I'm 35 and I design high profile concept designs ie formula one garages and pit walls...I'm pretty sure if I made one and locked half of it away and told them to pay more to be able to access it I would be brought before a court
-
Says I rant like a 5 year old then does the same thing lol. How about this comparison. Let's say your making a blueprint of a garage someone wanted built, and they tell you they have future plans of expanding it, so you leave some things in the original design that will make it easy to expand on in the future. Now the garage is built and the customer bitches you out to new end that there is obviously signs of the addition, but you didn't do it for free. All bullshit aside though, do you know how flooded the servers would be, or how long it would take if they didn't have the blueprint... Yes blueprint, not finished product locked on the disk? The servers would go down, or it would take hours to download the dlc. They did us a favor

And you do have a point it is nice not to be slowed down still I do think the dlc was a little lazy they could (should) have put more in....which is why (most people think) HOW was delayed because it was so sparse....and we definitely need more story!!!
-
Dont get me wrong I'm not saying that the dlc was perfect or that bungie didn't make mistakes, but we really got our money's worth from the game and dlc. They didn't delay HoW, the March 10th "release date" was a rumor and wasn't confirmed by bungie. I wish it wasn't taking so long and I wish there was more content, but the reason we all feel that was is because we played the shit out of this game more than any other
-
Iv only been playing about 6 weeks so to me it's all still relatively new lol but I look at some other games (example borderlands) you got a large area lots of missions and another full story....saying that destiny have done a brilliant job of making replaying the same mission over and over enjoyable....as to HOW bungee have admitted they put the release date back because the leveling up system needed tweeting because the way raid gear made every other armour redundant
-
I'm not actually that fussed to be fair I really enjoy the game as I'm guessing every one else on here does (otherwise why would you be reading this?) And I'm looking forward to HOW but I would also like to see some value for money ie new areas as in new scenery not just the same stuff recycled
-
That's not the same concept Destiny creates placeholders on disk for them to access so they can texture, tweak, test, and add content to the DLC the areas may be there but the missions, enemies placement, actions, resource/chest placement, and so on are not coded in or finished yet. They also have other things to code such as the vendors, the new way we level up exotics, the new guns, armor, they've got to (somewhat) test the new exotics they've also gotta add whatever amount of cinematics we will get
