How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

5/10 Great music Funny fps Stunning skies -blam!- RNG=frustration DLC=more money? Are u serious? Repetitive Activision blow my magic flute

To be completely honest. I say 6/10 maybe 7. It's good, but not great. I've met a lot of really cool people playing this and on the forums (which I truly believe Destiny had one of the best there is) but it does get boring after awhile. I really just do the nightfalls and weekly's then wait for xur and raid here and there if I have nothing better to do. I really just play it because it's the best that there is out at the moment. It's not amazing, it's not great, it's just the best there is in world full of crappy games and remastered games. It's like being the smartest person with down syndrome. That's just my honest humblest opinion. Probably going to piss some people off but yea. Sorry.

9/10 glitches and laggy servers kinda piss me off. But i LOVE this game. Call me crazy but I'm happy that theres a lack off story. A game as repetative as this would wear out even quicker if there was a story.

I give it a 9.5 its a really fun game to play the only bad part was the story line but after that its really fun upgrading your character
-
I give destiny an 8.5/10 Personally I love it Been waiting for it since 2012, glad to put hours in a new game rather than CoD or Battlefield
-
Wait, a 7.6 is bad? Pretty sure that means it's a little above average.

I'm torn I would I love to give this game a go high score. I put many hours into it and pissed my wife off a few different times playing it instead of hanging out with her but it doesn't matter if you played 50 hrs or 500 everyone hits the wall of "well what do I do now" I hit wall when dying light came out . It was fun, different, and a change of pace. I kept playing destiny once or twice a week to do the weekly missions..After dying light I jumped back into gta5 then the walking dead now resident evil and I found my self not playing destiny well over a month now and honestly I don't honk I'll go back till at least comet if then. I love destiny and got well worth my money but the replay value that once excited me so much I'd take personal days on Tuesday just isn't there anymore

Well we're only at about 6/10 of a game right now anyway. Once HoW and Comet drop then we can get a better idea of how high this game should rate. If HoW and Comet have as much content as we hope then Destiny should be somewhere around 8-10 by the end of the year. Guess we'll see. In the meantime I'm playing DA:I. So much more to do in an actual RPG.

I think this is the pre-pre-alpha of destiny.

Gameplay mechanics (gunplay) 10/10 World design 8/10 Mission design: VoG 9/10 CE 1/10 Strikes 6/10 Story missions 5/10 Game mechanics (rewards, vendors, etc) 3/10 Story 0/10 Replayability 3/10 Overall 6/10 While I don't regret buying it, I'm looking forward to putting it down. With way fewer hours than most people, I'm pretty much done at this point. Gjallarhorn dropped for me in the nightfall last week. I leveled it up enough to get wolfpack rounds, melted one boss, and now have no desire to play anymore. I haven't beaten Crota on hard, but the raid is so terrible I don't care to try. I'm basically ready for HoW and feel good about putting it down for a while. None of this is saying I haven't had fun with the game, but my intention for now is to play through HoW and see that content, then put it away. I won't be back unless some significant changes are made in Comet. It's just not worth the time investment. If they haven't fixed Destiny 1, I won't be paying attention by the time Destiny 2 arrives.

8/10 great game

7/10. Im tired of the same bounties. I never played a game as much as im playing destiny but doing the samething over and over again gets boring.
-
Overall, 7 The VoG, 9 or maybe even a 10. Outside of miscellaneous bugs I can't see how it could be done better. CE. 5 or maybe 6. Meh, it's just not for me. Cruicible. Too much work for so little reward. IB. Equally rewarding for the work. PVP is not my forte but I will do IB in the future. Not sure what # ranking I'd give it. Strikes, initially great. But now they just need more of them sooo...7 because I've done them so many times. The game does hook you though. I will give it that, it's an excellent time sink.

9/10 I love it, it's got me hooked since the launch
-
10/10

Edited by word2yermutha: 3/25/2015 11:25:28 PMEven though I am pretty dissapointed with a lot of things about the game it still keeps my attention and I have fun playing with my friends so I'd rate it 9/10 based on that alone. It's been awhile since I've played a game as much as I've played this.

9/10 love this gane
-
Cory in the house on the Ds is a 9.4.....
-
10/10 for me never put so much time into a game before
-
Funny how people giving the low scores are the same ones that browse these forums all day at work, and go home and do bounties just to level up a gun that's gonna sit in the vault. Think about it. Im guilty of it, but I don't bash this game. I love this game.

Bungie missed out on a $2.5 million bonus from activision since their meta critic rating was below 80
