How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

I'd say 7 or 8/10, I enjoy it still, most of the time anyway.
-
8.5/10 overall to me
-
7/10 for me good game just lacking content. Hoping the HoW and comet will be worth the wait.
-
How I rate the game: Story 5/10 Raids 9.5/10 Strikes 8/10 Crucible 6/10 (laggy crap) Patrol 5/10 Makes a 6.7/10 total average....worst than I thought

Edited by BannedMythicAccount: 3/24/2015 2:48:14 PMA honest rating for me would be 5/10 for the entirety of the game. For the most part the game is stable, functional and the design is great. The biggest negative is the lack of the content and the heavy reliance of grinding to progress. But the worse offense about grinding is that Bungie/Activision actively decided to play on RNG gamble grind, which plays to the addictive tendency to people who are more susceptible to addiction. This is a malicious form of grind and I resent Bungie for being active proponents of this system in order to keep their product alive for longer. To be fair, the gunplay is like a solid 8/9 out of 10. The gunplay carries this game alone. If this game didn't have such exceptional gunplay, it would be a 3/10 for sure. That is what lets it get away with being repetitive beyond that, there is very little substance to this game. No story, no content, no real prospect that the studio really wants to 'wow' the community. Destiny was ambitious for sure, but it left everyone with the discontentment of seeing the potential of how amazing this game could be, without really actually letting us play and experience how amazing Destiny would have been, had it lived up to it potential [and I'm not referring to the marketing hype]. I'm just talking about completing the base level development of the game with the original planned story and content/mechanics/modes. [Even at a halfway point at the very least, anything less than that, which is what we got, is disrespectful to the consumers/fans]

half the people that rate this game a "9/10" or "10/10" is just addicted, admit to yourself that it lacks content enough said.
-
To me the game is very good. I just want more. I'd say 8.5-9.0 out of 10
-
Lots that needs fixing but with the amount I've played I've gotten way more worth than the money I've put in. I'd give it a 9, only reason not a 10 is for the many flaws.

6 probably. Back when I didn't have every exotic and was raiding to get every weapon I would have said 8. Yes I know I have a lot of hours but most were spent trying to get Ghorn (second to last exotic I received). Now that I have everything I'm bored. And when the game first came out I asked "where is the story?" It's a shame really. I won't buy destiny 2 if HoW is terrible. I won't even bother with comet unless things change. The only reason I'm even playing HoW is because I got conned into preordering it.

It's addictive, but that does not mean it's better than a 7/10.
-
8/10 because I can't stop playing it
-
9/10. Game is completely lacking a story and is still -blam!-ing awesome. Game mechanics are great, graphics are great, sure a few glitches but what game of this size and complexity is completely glitch free? Can't wait for the expansions and future dlcs.
-
8/10 because addicting

Edited by Caito: 3/24/2015 2:19:51 PMBest 7/10 game I've ever played. Also, what took you so long to figure that out?
-
-
10/10 cuz i have a life and destiny allows me to dump time into it whenever i feel like it
-
7/10 it's good but it lacks things

Edited by Raksis The Great: 3/24/2015 2:33:35 PM7/10, but Angry Joe said it best.

8,5/10. Didn't experience the hype. I like it a lot and it only gets better.

8.5/10

Opinions.....

8/10. A solid, fun game. The online FPS market has vastly expanded since Halo. I remember when PvP came out with Halo and it was considered revolutionary. Now it's a must have in an FPS. Halo was basically alone in the market, so it built a big following early on. Big followings have their own inertia. There is much more choice and competition.

At the start I thought it was amazing, so it would have to be 7/10, Crotas end was lacking compared to atheon, so I'm hoping the HoW raid is much better because I won't be buying it otherwise .
