I just noticed Destiny is 76 on metacritic....
How did Bungie go down from being a top tier game developer to this....
even the user rating is 6/10...

How much would YOU rate Destiny??
To me this game is a 6/10 mainly due to how addictive it is to play with others in strikes and raids... everything else needs MAJOR improvements and where is that story at?
but i did get my money's worth after 500ish hours

9 because there's so much to do. Plus raids and strikes are great. Story game play is good, storyline sucks though. That's it (I don't do much pvp).

They put out the rating before the raid released. There is probably a more recent one but they probably rated it on the story

Game mechanics and play: 9/10 Story: 5/10 The game mechanics keep bringing me back. That and i want to improve my Crucible as this is my first FPS that i actually wanted to play better at.

1 ReplyI don't get why people rate the story. It's the smallest and probably most insignificant part of the game. It takes about 10-20 hours to do it. How can you play hundreds of hours in story mode? Why would you? I've never asked why she doesn't have the time to tell me why she doesn't have time to tell me during any of my raids. Some people just want to moan for the sake of it. My only issue with this game is the long wait for DLC. Other than that, there are very few games that I've put this much time into. The friends I've made are great and are quite a few now. I have a regular fire team that I created about a month ago. None of us had completed a raid before that. We've all got stuck in and spent many hours together already while having a great laugh together. It's easy to jump on the band wagon and criticise this game. If you do feel this game is such a low rated game, why play it? More importantly, why not get hell out of the forums and stop regurgitating the same old crap.

8/10 Sure it missed on story and miserably failed on endgame content and replay value, but it's fun and addicting.i always have fun when I play. Best graphic's I've seen on 360, and music is amazing. Gunplay is smooth, and never feel I got killed cheaply in PVE. In PVP, the gunfights give a rush, and is always fun, except on Atmonly.

8/10 right now, and I'm sure I will raise that as we get more content. I understand the problems with the story. I feel the pain with RNG and lack of content. Put that aside and you have one of the best games ever. The game play is amazing, everything flows so smoothly. The visuals are incredible. Music is solid. It really is ground breaking, I think. The problems in the game now are there, but they can be fixed and resolved. This is a game that will be in a liquid state of development for a long time. I have great faith and hope that as future expansions are released this game will become a solid 10/10. As such I am into this game for the long haul. Keep your eyes forward Guardians.

3 RepliesPredictable that so many people are on the destiny forum half a year after release and most logging well over 500 hours yet say how much it sucks. Seriously.. If it's that bad play something else and find a new forum. I don't think this game is the greatest and they do make a lot of questionable decisions.. But all in all I've played it more than any game ever and got a lot of enjoyment out of it. I'd say 8.5 with potential to be higher.

6/10 is fair. If we could get raid fixes in a timely manner, some acknowledgement of bugs/communication and content occasionally that doesn't mean paying money outright, I would say a high 8, maybe even 9.
