New ideas easy-to-implement to make more alive the world

I really like the game, and I have a great time in doing all kind of activities with my team. Nevertheless I feel the world a bit too stale.. So here comes different ideas that could be easily implemented in the game (All numbers I give are just to give an example, I think that Devs with data about the way we play would know how to better set the goals/rewards proposed) P.S: Sorry for my English (I'm Italian) - First of all I think that the presence of the 3 Factions (FWC, DO, NM) should have more an [b]active role [/b]in our hearts. A [b]minor change in the reward system[/b] from levelling factions would grant an extra boost in the interest to stick to a faction. As it is like now it works, but it would be cool if at level 5, 10, 15, 20 ( Or any other progression that to the developer would make sense ) there would be a fixed (surplus?) reward. (e.g: level 5: shader, lvl 10: sparrow, lvl 15: emblem, and so on.. ). In this way those who stick consistently to a faction could show their effort thanks to the look they have acquired. - In the same way could be done somenthing like that for Vanguard and Crucible. For those that pursue the progress of humanity with an "indipendent" mind there should be also a kind of aknowledgment. - [b]Weekly faction competition[/b]: it would be cool if there would be a kind of [b]comunity challenge[/b] between those who stick to a faction for an entire week. Somenthing like: who has overall the higher Kill/Death ratio on average wins. Or: the faction who has killed the higher amount of other members on average wins. I give to devs the freedom to think about other ideas. The faction that wins would have a weekly bonus (something that don't brake the game.. like a 2% exp gained). Only those who were in the faction all the week before can benefit from the bonus. In this way only who "deserve" the buff gets it, and it would be avoided the mass switch to the winning faction ( As it's considered the average between loayals to a faction, if all the noobs go to the winning side, the chance that faction will win also the following week are lower). - [b]Weekly Challenge from the Speaker[/b]: To aknowledge the winning faction it would be nice if the speaker would provide a weekly challenge that reflect the interest of the faction who had won. This would suits better for Patrol special tasks to give new life and interest to Patrols. Example: Complete 50 missions on Patrol on Venus in order to support NM operations on the planet. Or any kind of task that devs would think as reasonable. Rewards could be 5 Radiant Materials or somenthing worth the effort. - [b]Commendation from Factions[/b] (optional): when equipped the faction armor, it would be cool if we could have commendation that reflect more the interest of the faction we are loyal to. - [b]Weekly challenge from the tutor[/b]: Zavala & Co are interested to see you improve yourself in the fight against the darkness. It would be cool then if something like the Class bounties offered by Eris would be given also from them. Of course this challenges would be more challenging and time consuming (a week to complete - not a day). RNG would grant that each player have one challenge of a nice list of possible task. In this way it would be avoided to have all the people doing the same things for a week. As a Reward I leave to the Devs and you people to find somenthing appropriate. - [b]Weekly Challenge for Crucible[/b]: like the challenge from the tutor. RNG chosen, and would be the harder version of the normal bounties. Reward: to PvP player could be something like.. more experience in PvP, possibility to make money killing Guardians, higher rate of rewards. This would be also RNG chosen. - [b]Weekly Supply for the Gunsmith[/b]: The gunsmith serve a little puropose so far. It would be nice if he would make us to chose between 3 possible materials to supply him. The materials would be acquired by killing monster of the darkness. Each materials will grants a sustained reward for the following week. Only one material can be chosen per week. Ex. Acquire 1000 stuff X from Cabal = 50% discount on heavy synthesis, Acquire 1000 stuff Y from Vex: You can buy telemetries for primary weapons for all the next week. - [b]Weekly Comunity challenge[/b]: A task that all the comunity is required to stick to. If the Guardians are able to fullfil the job and fight the darkness they will have a small bonus for all the next week (e.g. 2% plus exp aquired). If Failed the Darkness will be stronger for all the next week (e.g 5 % damage increase, 10% more health.. and so on). I do believe that all these ideas could make a better comunity, and to help us to perceive the world as living. At the same time they would increase the interaction with already existing NPCs. I leave it up to you. I'm looking forward for any kind of feedback. EDIT: The post is trending! keep it like this!going!

  • From what DeeJ has been telling us everything about making Destiny is insanely difficult except nerfs and patching out beneficial bugs, those are easy, meanwhile shaders are so exceedingly difficult that they can only make, like, three every six months.
