if it is sold then this will be the beginning of bungies trials i keep telling people this, if everyone has it it will be left to 3 things
1) the biggest carrot in the game people strive for will be gone
- a fix to this would take alot of work to grab the attention of people again
2) the weapon will have no competition in damage so bungie will either have to create stronger enemies or create a weapon better than Gjallarhorn
-this one is a simple fix just adjusts current exotics to be on par with or at the same level as g-horn
3)future content will have to revolve around the fact that Gjallarhorn is in the majority of guardians hands and will have to make sure your not as tempted to use it as much as you would,
-this one could hurt the community as bungie more than likely would smack g-horn with the nerf bat.
an example of the change Gjallarhorn would create would be during strikes. most bosses are bullet sponges, but with Gjallarhorn it becomes much easier task for most, this means more rewards faster and remember the last fast loot system(RIP LOOT CAVE)
another example would be the main grunt forces becoming a crowd and a ganking you, without Gjallarhorn most do quite well and manage to get out relatively unscathed. when Gjallarhorn is introduced into the situation most player never run into ganking situation making the best out option Gjallarhorn.
more than likely bungie will create enemies immune to rockets(such as raids), or enemies that dodge rockets consecutively (like wizards) this would create a challenge without having to up the levels on enemies for an false sense of difficulty
i dont mind people having this weapon i think its great for people to get it but i dont think it would be great for everyone to have it at once due to it slowly degrading the value of the game over time :(
what is everyone else's opinion on this this is just my input
