"Sub par gameplay" this is the only place you're wrong. The gameplay in destiny is outstanding and no one has ever disputed that. Yes the grind is brutal, there's no story to speak of in the game, and RNG can be really frustrating, but god damn is it fun to shoot people in the face.

Crucible is laggy as shit. Takes so long for melee's to register. I have great internet as well so it's not me. Gameplay is good but the gameplay's performance isn't

Laggy crucible. You're right. That's a big issue. But the *gameplay* is impeccable. Lag is bad servers.
