What did you think of the story?

The story was fine. Not what it was advertised but people focus on what they were promised and compare it to that, rather than judge it for what it really is. Also people need to remember that this is supposed to be a game broken up in many different pieces. In Halo CE it had some closure at the end but left room for more which made people satisfied and Destiny simply left room for more. It's like the longest and most suspenseful movie you've ever watched. When it's all said and done Destiny will be badass AF. The Halo dream wasn't built in a single game

Repetitive mission design isn't opinion, it is in fact repetitive.

I'm not denying that they're repetitive but you but that under the con category and that's opinion. Therein lies your mistake. The repetitiveness doesn't bother me and im not the only one.
