The Denial is Real.
This game is shit. But every day you'll see at least 5 desticles come out of the closet and defend their beloved game "destiny"...
What do you even find good in this game
Pros:
Soundtrack
Skyboxes and artstyle
Cons:
Sub-par gameplay
Fücking grind to hell
Repetitiveness in missions
Terrible Story
Bad RNG system

Etc. Isn't an acceptable answer. The game play is awesome. The maps are awesome. The way it's designed so I can constantly add to my current story is awesome. The story IS awsome ( but I won't deny that they did a terrible job at giving us a means to dive into the story). The fact that I get to interact with other living people randomly all the time is awesome. It's not as bad as you want to believe, and so freaking what if you go on bungie.net and meet a bunch of people loyal to bungie. I don't go on Chevrolet.com to meet ford people.

I enjoy playing pvp and used to love the raids. Raids have gotten boring but new things are coming out next month and I'm excited. I genuinely like this game and guess what? That's okay. I don't have to have your point of view on anything you fascist. Get over it, some of us actually enjoy this game and don't take something for granted. Some of us are old enough to have bought 60$ games in the early xbox360 days when a lot of crap titles were released, did we complain? Heck no. We manned up and said oh well. You entitled morons don't know how good you have it. Plus if you don't like the game you don't see me making posts saying you have to. Get over it.

ironically... IT has good gunplay... some people like the grind. and the soundtrack is good but it doesn't play enough. But the game still sucks and yet we play it.. Because its bungie

When you don't play the entire game it's hard to enjoy. Yes it's way below hype and yes it underperformed but I still like it.

Admittedly this game isn't great, but it's fun if you play with your friends and have a good time, whether it's a raid, strike or the crucible. If your only reason for playing is loot, loot, loot, then play something else. Because the bad RNG reward system won't satisfy you there.

Hardly, the gun-play feels nice. The abilities boost it beyond the standard fps. Crucible is good, if not a little repetitive due to lack of maps and gametypes. Grind to hell? Yes the end game is a bit grindy but no one is forcing you to grind? You can reach near max level in 2 weeks just by doing a few strikes and crucible matches a day then buying the gear. Repetitiveness in missions - I'll give you that, there isn't a lot more than go to destination A and hold off for 3 waves. Terrible Story? The story is good, you just gotta dig for it. I'll half agree with you here only because you shouldn't really need to dig so hard. Bad RNG system - there's no such thing as a good totally RNG system so I'll award you this one as well. Misinformed hype - to be fair they did lie somewhat, but a lot of the hype was community speculation and not their fault - people were assuming aspects of game hype as facts because "I heard it from some guy" counts as verified facts nowadays because people are dumb. DLC content - I don't see how additional content is a bad thing... I guess it could have been a little cheaper or contain a little more story wise, but it doesn't belong on the con list

I play very little Destiny anymore (600hrs does that to you) and I think it's pretty good. The gameplay is more fun than you give it credit. Rocketing armies of enemies, nova bombing a crowd, killing some poor ass hole in the crucible with your necrochasm; the gunplay is fun. Raids are always fun to do and strikes are alright (played them to death though). Grind is real considering the lack of rewards to grind for and of course the story is garbage. But you have to admit; it's not a terrible game.
