I havent been on for a couple weeks. Haven't felt like getting back on destiny since everything felt like more of a tedious thing to do rather than doing it out of enjoyment. The raids and weekly nightfalls arent enough to keep me coming back anymore either. Maybe destiny got boring for me? Idk theres just not much to do no more until the upcoming content . (DLC) Anyone else felt tired of destiny?

Its dead. My friends moved on to other games, no one is on destiny to play with. I dont think HoW is worth waiting if its the same grind all over again. Been there done that never again.
-
What you speak of happens with all games once you do them enough often enough. Rushing to do the raids and be max toon with max weapons always causes burnout.
-
This is the problem with them leaving such a long time between DLCs. *BUT* I'm choosing to be optimistic about HOW. Maybe they are using the extra 2 or 3 months just to work out bugs, which is ok. But maybe they are realizing the mistakes of TDB and are putting together something fabulous.

Same here... I'll hop on to run the sword for friends in hard mode that are still trying to get drops but other then that I like to stay away from this game excited for BL2

It's common in this type of game for players to take a break after they've finished previous content and come back when the new content is released. Bungie doesn't have to justify a $15/month subscription or something, so take a break and we'll see you in a few weeks!

Edited by Corrick II: 3/23/2015 5:05:03 PMWhy do people ask this without giving real concerns? If I came on here to ask if Destiny was dying, it would be because I couldn't find anyone online for a few days straight, or the tower was always empty, or rumors were circulating that Bungie was going under or something. I'm tired of people getting bored and then wishfully thinking Destiny would just die or something. Some people are still having fun here.

It's been boring since the beginning..."how" isnt going to help
-
I got tired of it and went and played Dragon Age for a solid 2 weeks. Came back to Destiny and I enjoy it again. Just need to take breaks. Really though, I can understand those people who don't like PvP are the most screwed. I could play Crucible for hours and still find enjoyment.

Yeh I'm feeling it. Been playing solely to level my thunderlord and its just feeling like a chore now. I'm only really playing to fill in time till borderlands drops. I hate to say it but I'm starting to actually despise this game. I honestly can't see it changing much when HoW releases either. I don't raid and 3 new story missions I'll be able to blow through in 20 mins, and a strike or 2 isn't really going to do much to bring me back unfortunately. I've been chasing that carrot for too long and I'm pretty much done. Even if I was to receive ghorn tomorrow i think it would be too little, too late.
-
You could make a titan since you don't have one. I have all exotic weapons except ghorn so that's a big part of what keeps me playing but I just have fun with it. Once I get all exotics I'll probably help people who need it or don't know how to raid that need taught. I love the gameplay so much that the repetitiveness doesn't really matter. The guns are a blast to use and the character abilities are fun too.
-
I deleted one of my hunters and started a Titan to keep me interested. And j have no gear for it so it'll take awhile to level
-
couldn't agree more
-
Just dropped a HAWKMOON last night on crota hard!!!!!!! Nope definitely not getting bored!
-
Bump I'm the same (as is my fireteam)
-
All I do is crucible now
-
I'm even getting tired of doing Nightfalls. For the last 3 weeks, with all three characters, I've been getting strange coins. It's super annoying.
-
Yep bored. Question . Are legendary engrams dropping less for anyone else? Post latest patch, I've gotten 1 legendary engram after doing about 30 roc strikes. pre patch either myself or friend would get one about every two or three strikes.
-
Yea I get on and I'm like "ugh more bounties?" I wish there was more to do.
-
Getting boring kus nothing is difficult anymore. Doing more crucible now but even then it's not that difficult to stay above 1.0 KD on your team.
-
If I wasn't into PVP I would have been done a long time ago
-
Only doing nighfalls from now on.
-
Go play other shit. Come back when theres new content. Its very simple.
-
Not really. When I'm a little burnt out I just focus more on crucible.
-
It's been dead when red death was sold
-
It has slowed a lot, i tend to just raid and level gear up, it was bound to slow, the lack of content the delay in HoW and the focus on PVP over PvE their largest player base will do that to you
