lol, i don't play crucible.
I have more games on my warlock than you have on all three of your characters combined.
I have been killed plenty by felwinters lie, in fact, i own two, and i can personally tell you that there is no way in hell it is one shotting someone from 50 feet away. Thats not a fact at all actually, its an experience you have based on one occurrence of something in which you felt like something happened that didnt.
Here is what probably happened:
You, or the other guy had a sever case of redbarinitis
You were already hurt pretty severely, and the other guy fired one shot from closer to 30 feet away, finishing you off and ran the other way.
Or, i have seen this happen alot: you got killed by felwinters the death before and it doesn't update what weapon killed you when you die again(i have seen myself get killed by Arc Suros, LOL). Clearly you just misinterpreted something.
Let me tell you a fact: i have the max range you can have on my felwinters. It does not kill from 50-70 feet, you probably wouldn't even get a hit from that far away. Less than 15 feet is typically a one shot kill if you are aimed right on the person. The damage output falls of SIGNIFICANTLY from that point on, meaning that at 20 feet, you barely do any damage, and at 25+ feet, you are lucky to even get a hit.
