i think its because hunters attack and warlocks play defensive. there's a nice little clash when the opposing strategy wins.
we both counter each other's play styles when mastered. a really good, defensive, floaty warlock with good grenade placement pisses off bum rushy hunters. and really spazzy, quick, bum rushy hunter can really thwart a warlock's attempts to float around and spam nades from a safe distance when he kills you before you even realized what happened.
rogue vs mage, kinda deal. mage tries to kite, can piss off the rogue from a distance. rogue catches the mage, wont let him get away, pisses off the mage.
though, not quite to that extent, but it's the same principle. offensive vs defensive.
