Flawinter's Lie OP or Nah?
It's hard to toss around the word or abbreviation "OP" properly in a game filled with so many cheap ways to get killed but many think Felwinter's Lie is this super OP shottie/sniper that ruins PVP. I do die by it often but since I prefer to stick with teammates it's rare to see Felwinter's go on a killing spree due to its poor ROF. So I ask: Is Felwinter's lie flawed and overpowered or balanced by its slow ROF? Thoughts?

Balanced by its RoF. If I come up against 2 enemies together, it can be a real struggle to stay alive to kill both. Found Verdict has decent range as well as full auto, that thing can rip through 2 or 3 people very quickly.

10 RepliesI think its fine considering people send hundreds of motes to get it to be OP for them. Without the right perks it's a normal really slow RoF shotgun with nothing to special.

The reason it is not OP is that any random rolled vendor shotgun can have the same perks. There was a vendor sold Two to the Morgue with these perks and Bungie secretly switched them. They know how effective rangefinder or shot package are especially combined with hammer forged. People are crying about the shotgun. It's just a regular shotgun. It's the perks that make it so good and honestly Two to the Morgue with those same perks is better.

It wouldn't matter what they did to shotguns people would still complain unless they took them out completely. What's going to happen is they'll get ruined like every other weapon in this game people get killed by.

I'd say more balanced. What makes it so powerful is the fact that it can be rerolled until you have to perfect weapon.

Yea I just got it with acurized balistics, hammer forged, final round and rangefinder. Yes it's very good at range but it's not op. I get killed by it all the time but the low rate of fire and recoil helps balance it out.

I wound not say op but it is certainly pretty cheap and skillless to use. I even feel that with stock secret handshake.

It's pretty ridiculous right now. And it kinda negates the recent shotgun patch Bungie put out which, I seriously don't get. Whenever I kill someone with it, I teabag the everloving shite out of them.

Though it's causing a majority of my deaths I don't think it's any worse than any other shotgun. It's funny it does so well after they nerfed shotguns.
