"Shoot this is happening too fast." Over the speaker, "Portal door 12 is jammed, proceed behind the next door." "NO! We are not losing anyone else. I absolutely refuse." Adamantly I race to Door 12 only to find the next door already shut. I sink to my knees, emotionally and physically exhausted as the poor souls on the other side scream in agony. The rest of base camp is safe, for now.
