There is a big joke among my friends but I a broke down 12 gauge shotgun in my locker all my highschool life. And once accidentally took a 9mm to school in my car.
I was a rifle team and trap team leader so I already had a locker in the school ro office with all our teams weapons. So who ever messed with my school would have a bad day.
This was 10 years ago back in the day of people not being over protective about everything.
That school no longer keeps weapons there but off site. And no more shotgun racks in trucks :-(
bonus story. We went to a afb for an air show and I grabbed my hunting bag not my travel bag (both were the same) minus the fact my hunt pack had around 100 rounds of ammo in it. Went to the afb walked though the metal detectors and they didn't go off. at this point didn't know about the ammo but was stopped just like everyone else and asked to empty my bag, I did until I saw the ammo and stopped and said I'm just going to leave this on the bus. Almost got caught.
I have grown up a lot sense then I don't even have a gun rack anymore.
another funny story about my school is my chemistry teacher while she was in college her class made Meth because her teacher was a dealer. She got a degree making Meth she was a cool person.
