Stepping into the hanger I pace anxiously. On my tablet I quickly look through what live feeds and bio trackers are left.
"Things sure went south pretty fast. At least we have a moments pseudo peace."
A message comes through for the scientists present of a second ruin that needs to be seen.
"Oh? Well maybe if I can finish with the first one fast enough I can visit this one."
Adding my name to a roster to explore the second area I proceed to message escorters and Vex.

"K" We arrive in no time, but are perplexed to see some movement among the ruins. "What exactly is that?" Dismounting, I quietly move for a better view cautious not to o get too close.

I ready a non lethal Ki blast in my palm. "What is it?"

"I honestly have no idea. It looks like a variant of one of those rhino like species logged earlier today." It moves off a little ways, seems to be making lunch of the dense forestry. I spot the blue glow of the first entrance. "There it is! We are much closer than I thought! Hmm I think, I think I can make it." Stealthily I slip into the ruins. Evading the presence of the creature more a game than anything. [spoiler]on cell so can't reference back monsters.[/spoiler]

Without being seen we make it to the first blue entrance. An ethereal blue glow emanates from a single spire. Etched into the spire are various markings that seem to move. "Do you feel like we are being watched? It's a neutral presence I think..." I reach into my bag and am shocked to find the rune still there. But as I pull it out I notice that the markings are different and am surprised. As I reach the spire the creature from before comes under a made rage and begins frantically thrashing about nearby.

*Throws ki blast, knocking it out* "Something's messing with them, and something is definitely watching us."

"Agreed, going to finish this quickly and analyze the data back at base. If I need anything else we can just come back at a later date." I begin taking pictures of the runes. The blue glow begins blinking intermittently and the ground begins to shake. From the dense foliage a 1/4 mile to the right emerges a herd of beasts in a frenzied rage.

*Puts up shield wall* "Hurry it won't hold for long!*

I nod and quickly finish as much as I dare. Beginning to secure my work a larger beast knocks itself out hitting the barrier and the shock that vibrates through the ground and unbalances me. As I reach a hand out to the spire for balance, once my hand touches it, I scream in shock.

"What's going on!" *Helps you up* "We have 30 seconds before it breaks"

Standing again I wince a bit. "Electrical shock.. Like a conduit? Yeah let's go. I have enough."

"Think we can take it with us?" *Shield breaks, I barely put another up.*

As the shock wears off the beasts begin to calm. Some even begin eating again although a couple rambunctiously move about. The beast that is unconscious now breathes heavily as though it is in a deep sleep. "Odd. Well we can try." [spoiler]you did mean the beast right?[/spoiler]

Yes. "Ok grab onto my shoulder" *picks up beast*

*In an instant we all arrive at base* "I have to go, comn me if you need me" *fades away*

I nod then turn to the still sleeping beast as scientists crowd around it. "It's kinda cute... When it's sleeping." A head scientist approaches and I hand him my data and proceed to log the trip. The encounter now logged for reference.
