Who even cares anymore, the only one left is Thunderlord, and everyone already has that. If you need me, I'll be waiting for House of Wolves, which I will play for exactly 3 weeks until I get all the exotics that Xur is bound to sell.

My friends and I had a minor dispute about why Xur is even in the game. I thought it might be interesting to see what the community has to say.

Interview w Bungie developer said that buying weapons was the plan from the start. RNG was just an exciting "bonus".
