I currently have a 50" 720p LG Plasma and am enjoying the AA, contrast ratio and high refresh rate. I've heard 1080 and 4k don't support AA. Any insight here? Post your thoughts/comments and thanks!
EDIT: Wow lots of responses and great feedback! I went with a 55" LG 4k today and WOW. It's like a whole new game. 4k FTW.

42" Sony 900 series (think 905), said to be one of the best for gaming due to low response time. Must say I really like the picture quality!

I have a 42" LG 1080p from 2009. Still works great and looks good. When it dies I'm going to a 55" 100 unless the 4k go really cheap

So much 4k hate TVs are soo much cheaper now a days I've got a 50" hisense smart TV and the girlfriend and I love it. When we saw the 4k next to the 1080p TVs at the shops you can definitely tell the difference so for a little extra why not get it

1080 Samsung 23" monitor. Input lag is too rough on my 55" Samsung and gaming mode makes it look like shit

I can play on either a 55" Panasonic plasma or a 42" Samsung LCD. Both from about the same distance (about 9'). I find it's a little easier to play on the 42". With the 42" there's less of the gameplay left out on the periphery. Try moving closer to the screen while playing and you'll see what I mean. With a larger screen, or being closer to it, you end up having to move your eyes more or even your head in order to see it all. Being a little farther back or on a smaller screen lets you see more if it with less eye/head motion.

4k with up scaling could cause delay while the tvs engine trys to convert the image. Most tvs have a game most that works to eliminate these factors.

42 inch LG 1080p.

4K won't make any difference. It would if they enabled pixel doubling to get a higher DPI on 1080P. Then the images would look amazing. As for AA, are you referring to Anti-Aliasing? Because there is definitely AA on 1080P Xbox One.

Damn 50 feet? Where the hell do you put that thing? I play on a 60" Samsung led smart tv. Love it. Now if I can just get a uhdd 75" I'd be in heaven

A shitty Philips lcd 1080 tv.. It hurts to analyze the distortion.... I need a led or one of those fancy curved tvs sometime... I got goosebumps when I saw the picture on the Samsung uhd tv at best buy last time I was there...
