I feel like there needs to be an update to Iron Banner that for every player that leaves midgame because of a blowout or any other reason that they should not only lose reputation but also get decreased reputation in an event of a win. Leaving in the middle of a match ensures a loss and it isn't fair for the people such as myself or other players who stay in a match an collect Iron Medallions making ranking up that much more difficult.

They lose their chance at the end of game roll. Let them leave.
-
It should be like halo reach where if someone leaves too many times within a certain amount of time they get locked out for a few hours.
-
I agree and disagree with this. I don't feel they should implement that till bungie actually listens to the players and fixes the boot errors that they obviously never actually fixed just changed the names of the errors.
-
I led 5 games on a row and my teams always went negative which netted me 5 medalions...so every game after like that I left because there's no point if it's not a win my point? I wouldn't leave if you weren't scrubs that don't help me
-
Why leave by choice? You get a medallion to turn in after a win.
-
What if you get disconnected? Or what if u are 10000 points behind. Or what if you have so much lag it's unplayable. Leaving a game is a choice. U miss out on loot drops and reputation. That's your own choice. I only jump out when it's unplayable or when we I join a game that is a loss from the start.

I do agree they should do something but find a way to differentiate a server/network error and intention. Sometimes my Internet will crap out. I have so many weasels my local pet shop told me to stop giving them to them. House smells like a god damned zoo.
-
Sorry when your the only one on the team doing well and capping zones and the other team keeps lag killing you, hell Ya I'm gonna back out. Sorry but when I can empty clips into people's heads and they don't drop it's kind of annoying
-
Bungie's fault for tying in exotic bounties with crazy pvp requirements
-
I don't believe a player leaving the team ensures a loss, however I really think most of it is lag and weasel errors. I've barely been able to get in 15 matches this week with all the "contacting destiny servers" bs. Half of those I was thrown in the middle, never played more than 4 without being lagged out. This only happens in iron banner.
-
If you're going up players who are lag switching - it probably isn't worth wasting your time to get the loss. Perhaps if lag switchers can't actually find games to play - they'll stop doing it.

Yeah its annoying, had a game yesterday where everyone quit one after another and we were given the win for forfeit. I'll stick out the matches I get thrown into being way down and that doesn't even seem to help because I'll just get thrown into another bad match next round. I feel like since I don't play with a fire team they take advantage of that and I get bounced around from bad match to bad match. It's relieving when you get a competitive lobby that sticks around round for a few games.

I was playing Iron Banner yesterday in the evening and struggled to actually win 3 matches. Every single match was laggy with stacked teams and red bars. Why should you have to stay in a match when you've already got 5 "loss tokens" and your team are getting stomped by bullet proof opponents for the umpteenth time? Excuse me while I go to orbit and try and find a better lobby.

I agree
