One thing that I have been wondering about Destiny is, why are all the pistols revolvers? I mean yeah the environment is kind of "wild west" -ish, but there were a couple of semi-auto pistols near the start of the 1900's. For instance, the C-93 made in Berlin of 1893, and the C96 produced in 1896. The C96 saw lots of use in different countries and even had different variants. Maybe a pistol similar to the C96, although that could end up a bit Han Solo -esque. Maybe a hand cannon modeled after the M1911, or the Browning Hi-Power. I think it would be a nice change to all those revolvers out there. So how 'bout it? An exotic hand cannon based off a semi-auto pistol. Obviously it would need a fixed fire rate so the trigger can't be spammed on it but that's why it's a hand cannon, it's meant for power. I honestly feel like it would be a nice change of pace. If anyone wants to add some ideas go ahead and comment. If you feel it's a stupid idea please say why you feel that way, I'm very curious about other people's feelings toward the thought.
