Advantage is not due to the tv. My avg crucible score is significantly lower on ps3 using the same tv as my ps4. Ps4 controller is also way more responsive.
They could easily limit it to pve though, which would be awesome.

Yeah it simply wouldn't work I always go back to my PS3 though for iron banner because the crucible players aren't as good on the iPS3 and I dominate Also I run into a lot less teams All cross gen would do is cause a ton of unnecessary lag
