Lone Wolf breaks off from the pack, works his own way regardless of what his team is planning or doing. Strong in their own right, but unpredictable and a pain if they get them selves killed.
Medic: fights when they can, otherwise making sure to get downed allied. Very reliable person, well rounded but concerns them selves with getting downed team mates over actually fighting.
Heavy: has all the OP weapons, damage dealing tanker with no speed or agility. Just walking armor with the biggest guns the game has to offer. Often used as mobile cover and bait by their team, but valued greatly.
Assassin: you stay back, pick off enemies and strike when unexpected. You may not have the highest kills, but with your hand cannons and sniper rifles, you kill the most troublesome before they even knew what hit them.
Leader: the fire team boss everyone likes and respects. Your skills at fighting are well rounded, but you have the talent to lead even the most unlikely of teams to victory.
Leroy Jenkins: LEEEEEERRRROOOOYYTT JEEEEEEENKINS!!!!! Often making bum rushes? Just crashing in to the enemy an killing all you can before often getting killed your self? Often hear the medic saying "poor choices.."? This is you then.
Other? Explain and classify! :) no hate and have fun guardians!
Long live the VOG!
Edit: wow, most responses ever :0 keep it coming guardians! Brag on your bum rushes and healing stories! I found most people are mixes but favor one thing over the other.
Cheers guardians!
Current leader: lone wolf 21%
Second place: toss up between leader and Leroy...? Ok lol. 17%
Seems like guardians prefer to make their own fate, be in charge of the team or just.. Ya know... LEEEEEEROYYYYYY JEEEEEEEENKINS!!!!!!
Such positive results.. I lost count of how many people have posted here. Keep it coming guardians and keep voting!
Long live the VOG! And cheers to the guardians, for without them i would be working at five nights at Freddy's or a transformers extra.

Edited by Baker: 3/19/2015 8:09:58 PMThe warlock role, heavy/assassin/lone wolf -wreck everything you can and make a shitload of orbs doing it so your fireteam can be supercharged
-
Definitely an assassin. Built my primary hunter this way from the start. I'll usually be somewhere in the middle on total kills, but have the far fewest deaths. I'm pretty squishy, but with max agility and copious invisibility, I don't get hit that often.
-
usually leader, but I kinda adapt to what the team needs
-
Gunslinger is my style (I know its the subclass I use) but I feel so cool throwing knives and using my Thorn and when I super I pretend to infuse it with light for 3 shots
-
I think Leroy and Medic go hand in hand.
-
I'm heavy I'm the only one I play with who has ghorn. They said that they would give me every heavy ammo drop during omnigul if they could
-
LLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROYYYYYYYYY JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENKINS is my daddy. I make him so proud.
-
I'm only leader cause i know all the people in the fire team and I have some skill
and the best wifi
-
Edited by Cqalla: 3/19/2015 6:35:45 PMI usually stay back and pick of other snipers and other big guys in our way while the others kill the front lines. Sometimes I like to go Leroy tho ;)
-
Both medic and heavy I was told when I started playing the game not to stand in the sh_t, so I don't.
-
Probably a combination of medic, tank, and LEEEEEEROYYYYYY JEEEEEEEENKINS!!!!!!
-
I am Crota, destroyer of guardians and son of Oryx. Does that count?
-
Other: I do what is necessary for my team team.
-
I like to sit up on I cliff and snipe but if one of my teammates die I will go revive them.
-
I'm lone wolf if team doesn't follow that's them. Had a fireteam shoot rockets at crota I'm left room I stood in window and was yelled at to get inside left. Like I'm not standing there to get a rocket to my face bcuz someone wanted to wall in front of me. Needless to say I didn't die they shoot each other and blew themselves up.

E E E E E E E E E E E E
Translates to:MEDIC MEDIC MEDIC MEDIC.....
-
Tactical: I like to complement my fireteam by flanking, using cover fire, combining firepower when someone is targeting a tough enemy, focusing in on either the enemy snipers or front line depending on what my team is doing, and trying to get the most orbs out of my super as often as I can.
-
Considering my teammates seem like they play without thumbs, I have to be a lone wolf.
-
You hit the nail on my playstyle, as an assassin. Proud to see, that we are do few in numbers :-)
-
Lone Wolf in part no one to play with.
-
I have all of the exotic rocket launchers as well as Hunger of Crota. I also routinely carry firefly equipped primaries Specials are a rotation of P&T, Icebreaker, Black Hammer and Light of the Abyss. Artillery dealing warlock/hunter.
-
I fall somewhere between the Medic and the Assassin. Which is kind of how a Bladedancer with Shadowjack and Invisible perks should be played in my opinion. Running the Nightfall this week I played that role often. When Omnigul would scream I would hide on the mezzanine in the entrance and pick off Thralls and the Knights in support but left most of the battle to my two partners using Invisibility to revive them if they got into a jam or to assassinate the Boomer Knights causing problems with my Arc LDR.
-
Mix of Leroy and medic
-
Assassin and medic.
-
I'm a Controller - With high survivability and great awareness of the changing battlefield conditions around them, the controller's duty is to pick up threats that could easily turn into disasters before they can develop. Tasks can include dumping a rocket or super into a freshly spawned horde, covering the team from small adds while the team focuses on the bigger fish, reviving downed teammates quickly before things can go from bad to worse, re-routing attention from current target to help a teammate being overrun, sacrificing personal kill-count to distribute even damage across the battlefield, V.P.C. (Vantage Point Cover), Boomer Watch (CE), Dumping solar grenades(i roll with 2) in the shrieker hall leading to the chest after the bridge to pave a path for the runner. And a bunch of other stuff. Basically the Controller watches everybody else's ass.

I'm more of he medic and the assassin, I never rush out to take out enemy's, but I stay back and snipe, and when someone dies, I'm always the first to get to them
