So I threw my controller at a wall today....
My internet disconnected when I was already in a bad mood because of the people using shotguns in IB and murmur doing minimal damage at ranges closer than I've one shotted, and getting killed by supers. In my defense, I was aiming for the couch and released late, nailing my brothers art supplies bin he got like 10 years ago and breaking one of the drawers. The only other noticeable damage was not feeling a click when i press the Y-button.
Edit: this seems like it is turning into a confession spot for other people's rages, not the original idea but keep em comin.

1 ReplyOh f**k when I was younger back in the late 90s early 2000s I had this gameboy advanced and I was playing something and lost a lot of money or something and I got pissed and slammed it into my head. Obviously it didn't survive ;(

I punched a hole in my friends wall when I was playing Goldeneye. I was on the last level on the hardest difficulty and was fighting Trevelyan and had him beat but I fell off the platform.

1 ReplyYeah, I was playing on exodus blue, I kept getting shotguned, and supered, and spawn killed, and I kicked my drawer, causing the middle part of one of the shelves to cave in. At the same time, I threw my controller down, cracking it open a bit, and now that controller wont let me move foward correctly, I literally used to stutter step as I walked haha.

I was playing crucible a couple weeks ago got really frustated never thrown a controller before but wanted to many times anyway playing crucible and i realize my contlroller sucks anyway and i had a spare so i tossed it bounced pf the ground so hard it hit the roof then i grab it and tossed it again and again it felt good made a little bit of a mess though but hey that silver xbox 360 controller had earned it

I took a broken controller to the demo range and split it in half with det cord. Wasn't a rage reaction, but I have the scraps sitting in my room and tell people it was a rage reaction lol

Twisted a controller in half playing God of War, Ares on God Mode. If I treated a PS or XB controller like I did the NES controllers, they'd explode.

Does anyone remember tube tvs? Well I had one in college and was playing halo 2 when it first came out. I was up late one night and not thinking straight..... Got a little heated and punched the tv.... You can shot those tvs and they would be fine. Well I hit the tv and the back part of the tv went into the wall. Left a hole in the wall the size of the back of the tv. I felt like a complete idiot.

I was trying to beat ash and kept getting so close then pikachu would just thunder the shit outta of all my Pokemon. Tossed the gameboy over my shoulder aiming for the bed, slammed on the floor, cracked screen that never turned on again. Learned my lesson Gently place it down, then punch a hole in the wall like man!

I would be tempted to throw my controller but then I would have to take out a loan to get a new one £60 for a controller Sony ouch !

One day he tried to take the controller away from me so I threw the Sega console at him, he dodged and it stuck sideways in the wall. Luckily back then things were built to last.

I threw a spare controller one time when playing the Skate 3 demo. It bounced off at least 2 walls, yet only the controller's analog stick was slightly damaged. Lucky me.

1 ReplyIt happens to the best of us, I was having a particularly bad game, we were losing control on blue exodus really badly, towards the end I re-spawned to get almost instantly supered three times in a row... BAM! The controller went flying across the room then slid along the floor and hit the wall, "WHAT WAS THAT?" shouted my gf from another room, "oh, I errr, dropped the controller" as I skulked down to pick up the pad.

Kind of off topic, but my dad would get extremely mad watching sports, (the few times I see him nowadays he still does.) I remember going shopping with my mom, and I had to be about six at the time, so I saw this foam rectangle and asked her what it was. She replied with "Your dad would probably love it." I asked her if I could get it for him, and so she buys it for me to give to him. I get home, he says thank you and is happy I thought of him. Had to be about an hour later, he's watching football and screaming because the Bears were probably the same let down then they tend to be now. He picks up the foam brick I got him, and -blam!-ing slams it on the floor to my horror. They explained it shortly after so all was good after.

My poor 360 got it bad, playing nba 2k13, I broke five controllers, my dog got up and left the room whenever I played it. That game use to get me so mad!
