No. People shouldn't have to pay to win.
Also, people should be able to play Destiny how [i]they[/i] want, not how [i]you[/i] or [i]Bungie[/i] wants.
EDIT: A [i]legit[/i] challenge? The only legit challenge in the Crucible is finding a good server, a room that isn't full of fusion rifle spammers and players that get in everyone's way, or a server with good players. PvP is just as challenging as any PvE strike or raid within your level bracket.
