At least I can jump up on ledges with my warlock... My Huntard always jumps short because he went full retard with his jump... Not saying it isnt possible to jump to some of the places I miss, but that it is difficult to do compared to the Warlock... And the glide or whatever the Warlock has is far superior...
Take the Archon Priest strike for instance... That first jump before you actually enter the layer where all of the underleveled mobs are... With my Warlock I can jump right up to the ledge... With the huntard I have to run past said ledge and jump on the rocks where they are lower and easier to reach... I could run circles around a Huntard with my Warlock jump... This is just one of many places I have trouble getting to with my Huntard where the Warlock hits them 100% of the time...

I can evade incoming attacks MUCH easier with the hunter jump. Your glide makes you a sitting duck, especially in pvp. Jumping up on ledges is meaningless in comparison.

You do realize that hitting the jump button while gliding will make you drop and stop gliding right? And the combo of going back and forth makes you a very hard target to hit right? It is hard to judge your lead on someone when they keep changing their speed... Any of the 3 classes are more than versatile when played correctly. And some people might prefer the huntard jump over the Warlock jump... It is all opinion. But in my opinion, the Huntard has by far the worst jump and I hated having to level him for that exact reason!

You don't jump. You glide. Only hunters have a true jump.

oh and yea... pvp is for pansies... so I cant talk much about which jump is better in there as I am not a pansy and rarely if ever queue for it.

Crucible is the best part of destiny. Hunter

I knew you had to be pve only when you started talking about jumping on ledges. In pvp, the floof is garbage.

You call it a glide... I call it a slo-mo super jump... Matrix style!! You can be Neo, or you can jump twice and still miss your target... full retard style... like I stated... to each their own... I will take my "glide" and you enjoy missing your target! Both parties are happy.
