The general consensus is that the Arachnid Sensorium perk is underwhelming when used outside of Crucible and outclassed when compared to the other Hunter helmets. Most suggestions call for adding critical damage to the shots in order to buff the perk. I'm sure this comes as no surprise. Gunslingers have been begging for Golden Gun to do critical damage forever now, and I'm no different! Okay, no, I'm a little different. I believe in the power of shamelessness and diplomacy for the good of all.
Instead of doing straight critical damage, the Arachnid Sensorium perk should allow for critical damage on successive shots while ADS. The possibility of x2 critical shots will increase the ATS/Arachnid's utility while maintaining the theme of "skill" or "precision" in Gunslinger encounters that I believe the devs were trying to bring into this exotic.

Edited by SpicyPIXEL: 3/18/2015 4:05:58 PMAdd an enhanced radar (longer range or something with various colours [3-4] used for distances) and I'm in - how does this helm NOT have a "Spidey-Sense" perk?! Well, I'm in regardless, I do like your idea

I think it'd be cool if Golden Gun kills extended the duration of Golden Gun.

I mean it should do crit damage regardless but this would be a good compromise.

I agree the helm needs a buff. Only exotic hunter helmet I don't have because I dismantled it.

I like this idea. Definently gives it some use in PVE. I was thinking that each successive shot increases the critical damage if you can do it quickly. Like the first one %100 then %150 then the last shot is %200! That would be awesome and highly rewarding for a skilled Gunslinger to pull off.
