This post will (hopefully) be a large collection of all the dialogue heard at the tower. If enough of you guys contribute dialogue you've heard, ideas about the dialogue you read on here or hear in game, or just bump this post, then we can piece together a huge collection of lore and interesting facts about Destiny. I sat in the tower for about 30 minutes just listening to what various vendors and characters had to say. I wasn't bored at all surprisingly. Most of the dialogue I have collected (for now) is from the FWC vendor. Look below and see what you can make of it! Please help contribute ideas and more interesting facts! Also: if you listen very closely in the tower, the speaker will say different things softly in the background, even if you are nowhere near him!!!! Destiny NPC dialogue Lakshmi-2 "Dead orbit just misdiagnosed a problem. It's not a matter of distance, but of time." "What if there was a single timeline untouched by war? Would you have any idea how to live in it?" "The ancients had a time keeping device called an hourglass. You could turn it, and turn it, but there would be nothing more in it then dust." "We keep our mysteries close. Take them from us if you can." "Talk to dead orbit if you want to escape. I offer something harder, better." "Hahaha, who told you that? What a silly idea." "You think the guardians can carry the fight alone? You think you have the right to be weak?" "Dead orbit can run to the ends of the universe, but the war will be there waiting for them." "War is our fate. Can you learn to love it?" "What if on some dreadful night, the darkness came creeping up to you, and whispered, 'This war is all there is for you'. Could you laugh, and say, 'Bring it on'?" "A trillion timelines, and all at war. Like a mass of red flowers growing in a black garden." "I'm an Exo. I could never doubt that I was made for war." "Another war story? I could tell you about tranquility and hive." "I'm not going anywhere." "Thinking about what I've said guardian?" "The inner circle has its secrets... Maybe in time..." "Another war story? I was there when the house of Devils burned London." "What if you could learn to love your fate?" "What do I think of the new monarchy? Hahahahahaha... I don't, really." "I can't help you if I don't know what you need guardian." "We cannot give up hope!" "Silence.. Still.... *sighs*" "If they find it, can they contain it?" "No... No, that isn't right." "This is no time for questions. We must be bold." "I thought...... No... No." "Something powerful is down there. I can feel it." "If only the Nine would help..." "Keep looking. Keep fighting."
