THE ONLY WAY TO 34 SHOULD BE IRON BANANA
As a certified crucible legend (top 1% for crucible deaths, top 1% for orb collection, bottom 3% for ktd), and expert PvE player (2 check em 2 raid completions) who was the world's first to solo the crota chest in the abyss using only dancing to traverse the map, I have this great concept.
The reality is PvE is easy mode for scrubs. Giving out light 42 gear for walking through easy content vs the hard slog of earning it in the Iron Banner is a slap in the face. Anyone can die at the lanterns and get 36 light gear when a hunter invisibility cheeses the section solo. Only the supreme can grind the Iron Banner to level 34.
UPDATE: hahahahahahaha the Scrub zone of Eldars is an even bigger joke. Hur hur hur a 30 second gjally blast to level 35 completion. Please. And the Trials is Scrubsiris.....where 1 good player carries 2 scrubs to the lighthouse week in week out is hardly worthy of max level. These activities should be deleted from the game!!!!
I think raid, PoE and Trials gear should be reduced to Blue gear to represent the lack of skill required to get it.

3 RepliesI support your idea, as a mainly PvP player it seems to me that raids and raid gear get top priority with consistent exotic drops and better legendary gear. Fighting actual people in crucible is harder than fighting npc's. Iron banner should be a route to exotics and the legendaries should be on point with raid gear. P.S. I've always wanted to try a raid...lol

You will implement my patented idea for the [i]Jar of Bees[/i] universally classed grenade type. Let me explain it, it will be a jar of bees, and when it is thrown the jar will break. In result the bees will be released, when they are they cause a area denial effect like the solar grenade, but also the bees will track the enemy if they aren't in the AoE. Also everyone will be rolled if they are allergic to the bees, if they are the bees will cause a DoT effect like Thorn. If you can promise us that, that Community Manager is already yours.

I think PvP can't be used for [i]anything[/i] important unless there are dedicated hosting servers. The lag would make this game impossible to get to 32 if your plan were in action. Plus, the Crucible sucks monkey balls. Just sayin'.
