Any Advice for Dragon Age: Inquisition?
I'm on the Nightmare run and whatever I do now I know my party is going to be wiped out. It's at that point where the rifts spit out nothing but Sloth, Terror and Despair demons.
I have Cassandra, Vivienne and Iron Bull in my party; however Iron Bull seems to drink health potions like water so would it be wise to switch him with Blackwall?

1 ReplyHonestly I would switch out IB for a ranged - maybe Varric? Cassandra is an absolute tank, and I found IB died far too often for my taste. Best way to get through Nightmare is to run Knight Enchanter paired with Spirit abilities. It's so broken lol

Don't underestimate varric. I'm telling you, if you level up his crossbow and give it the proper upgrades he is op as -blam!-. I'm speaking from experience. At first I didn't want no midget ass mother -blam!-er cramping my style while trying to get into Cassandras titties but I had a friend and he was like use him he's cool and I said -blam!- it and tried it out and I slayed the -blam!- out of dragons. Real shit.

No bot is as good as tank as a real player. I went all taunts, chain pull, armor passives, Great Wall is must so wen you block you give iron bull armor stacks. Guys if you tank you will never lose. Focus on stacking armor and you can always revive team. I always took the damage with taunts while bull would damage and get armor stacks too. Plus with two Mage spamming barriers this is the ultimate team. Solas rift allows me to get more enemies with taunt and it weakens their defenses for my payback strikes and iron bull. Vivenne snail bubble and long sword also benefits from rift pull. The inquisitors rift also makes this overkill [spoiler]anyone care to compete wth this synergy?[/spoiler]

Nightmare you'll need a full spirit mage w/ revive, i did it with a KE who constantly has barriers and can revive everyone to full health and barrier + a spirit mage who pops barriers and revives also... so its pretty much impossible to die. Blackwall is the best tank in the game, aslong as he has guard he cant die, and he always has guard, Cassandras good too, i chose to go with her because Nightmare you'll wanto focus on defense but try and squeeze out as much dps from everyone as possible, and Cassandras a good tank with some sweet aoe templar moves

1 ReplyNow, full disclosure, I switched DAI to easy when medium got too tough because I took the Templar quest at the minimum level and I, uh, kind of suck at the game. But I know that in any situation where things got hairy due to my being too low level, I wanted Cassandra and Blackwall both in my party because they're damn tough.
