Why are some 32s such dicks
I see a lot of post from both lower lvl saying that 32s are dicks and then there are a lot of 32s that won't help lower lvl players
I just don't get y 32s are like that I mean we all started at the same place someone at some point so y would u act like you don't know what it's like. I personally love helping and teaching lower ppl how I do the raid ls or even learn some ways that other ppl do it. I mean I have all 32s so what else do I really have to do in this game. I carry 30s thru the hard raid and 27s thru the normal raid. Idk maybe I'm just different.

Edit 3: I didn't think this post would grt this big. I am trying to reply to all the comments but that is starting to look impossible so thank you to all that commented even those who don't agree this is a forum for everyone to express there thots. Glad to see we are all still frosty

I asked someone to do the nightfall with me and a friend last night as I had yet to do it on my hunter, not knowing that he was a 32 (I just asked pretty much everyone in the room as we were kinda desperate). During the nightfall he started bossing us around like it was nobody's business. Now I'm fine following instructions, but when a player who is a single level above me starts to bark orders like he's my IRL superior I don't respond well to it. The only time I've seen levels have a visible difference is during a raid. So during the strike we talking about how we've done the raids a couple of times but weren't really that experienced, then he starts going on about how he could get us a group for Crota Normal. He then says he can only take ONE 31, and when I asked why he didn't even clearly give a reason. He then notices that I had my Eidolon ally equipped (I switched really quickly and wasn't using my primary at the time anyway) and asks if I have the crux. I obviously say no because I'm not mentally ready for hard mode. So he hears that and starts to brag about how he plays 12 raids a week and has like 5 Crux of Crota. Then the rewards screen comes up and I get Voidfang Vestments for my Voidwalker when it's levelled it up. It's my first voidwalker exotic so I'm pretty happy with it, then he starts to put me down saying how it's one of the worst exotics he's got. After the strike we're all in orbit and he's bragging again about how many exotics he has. He starts to judge me on the weapon I enjoy using (Universal Remote). At this point I'm like nah I've had enough of this. I say "I'm gonna head off" and leave. TL;DR ---- People can be braggy dicks sometimes.

I'm a level 32. I'd only help if they'd send me a message before hand. If they just randomly invite me then I won't help.

I'd help anyone, just last week I did norm crota 17 times to help ppl out and I'd help lower levels whenever they need it. What the point in being a guardian if you don't even help the rest of your companions?

I'm a 32 I'll help at anything in the game . But vog I havnt a scooby I'm the one who needs help with that. Like life there will always be one horrible twat but not everyone is the same .

Not [i]all[/i]. I may be a 32 but I have a skill level of a 25. Lol I suck. Anyways, I'm willing to play with anyone really at a reasonable level on raids. Like for example, I'm not bringing a 30 in a 33 raid unless everyone else is a 32.

3 RepliesWhat I am about to say is in no way intended to defend 32 elitism. Any 32s who act like 31s (or lower) aren't worthy of playing with just because of their light level are obviously not very good players. They rely on gear score rather than skill to complete objectives. Having said that: I never had a 32 to help me reach 32. Pre TDB, I never had a 30 help me get to 30. My raid teams were always pushing the progression together. When we beat VoG HM for the first time, we didn't have any 30s to "help" us. When we completed Crota for the first time (normal mode) we were all the same level. For people who were completing the raid week 1 and every week since then, getting to 32 was an accomplishment because it required people under 32 be skilled enough to finish the raid to get the shards and gear. It is a little easier to beat the raid and get to 32 when you are running the raid as a 31 with 5 32s as opposed to a 31 with 31s and 30s in the group.

I feel like the 32s who are assholes are either dumb kids who think they're hot shit because they got lucky with an RNG or full grown adults who get some kind of self-fulfillment out of the fact that they were able to pour more time into a video game than someone else was. Either way, it's just elitist bullshit and no lower level player should take it personally.
