PvE Event PLEASE
Can we, the community, PLEASE have another PvE event? So sick and tired of all of the Iron Banners, change it up for once.
EDIT:
And for those of you who argue for raids and nightfalls as "PvE Events" here is my reasoning for why they are not equivalent to Iron Banner:
Raids are not PvE events. You can do them once per week for rewards. And it is all RNG rewards. Iron Banner allows the more skilled players and people who put in more time, to reap the benefits as such. Raids do not follow those mechanics. Neither do Nightfalls. A week long PvE event allows people to grind out and log those hours for rewards that they can choose, for rewards based on merit, not RNGesus. Understand?

Just don't understand how hard it is to bring back Queen's Wrath. Make it tougher with 3 part quest or something. Add better rewards (shaders, guns, armor, etc) and everyone is happy.

You don't get it. Bungie has nothing meaningful to put into an event that could enhance the game at all for end game players. A pve event would be nothing but different shaded bounties for worthless rewards that are worse than what we have. They dropped the ball on this aspect of the game as well

36 RepliesYou do understand that the real end game content in destiny is iron banner right? Pvp is the end game content of destiny and iron banner is the pinnacle of pvp. You raid and do weeklies and nightfalls to get the gear and weapons to compete in iron banner. I love pve, but people need to come to the realization that bungie makes pvp shooters. Halo had a great campaign but people didn't sit and replay it over and over again, they beat it on legendary and then moved on to pvp. That's what the plan for destiny is.

PvP is their least played and weakest link Therefore bungie's thought process is as follows "Keep doing events for PvP so people will actually play it! But don't make PvE events because that would take people away from our already lowest played activity!"

I want Queens wrath again, but house of wolves seems to be denying that. I didn't understand it properly and thought it was just a different bounty tracker thing with guns. When I realised I missed out on easy legendary stuff, that was disappointing.

IB gives you a shot at some weapons (half of which are garbage, like Silimar's Wrath), and some level 32 gear (again, which often times aren't worth wearing), and that's somehow better than RNG rewards from the raids? I disagree. PvP players only have Crucible. That's it. PvE players have strikes, weekly, nightfall, raids, etc. There's far more PvE to do. There's only Crucible. It's nice to have IB as often as it comes.

All the idiots stating raids are PvE. It's not about that you asshats. It's about something of the same vein to Iron Banner except in the PvE world. That's it. Why is that so hard to understand?

No. Bungie has made it clearly obvious that this game is PvP, and they will only cater to the 15% of the player base that plays it. This has been proven time and again with the "balancing" and events. They don't care about you. They want you to leave and play dragon age.
