So after a lot of thinking I think I finally figured out how to solo Crota hard as a hunter. So the main problem is his shield right? Well I found out a few ways to bring it down. 1. Use gunslinger and fire a ghorn shot then throw a trip mine grenade and fire another shot then use throwing knife and make sure you have the perk that makes throwing knife have damage over time. 2. The other way to bring down his shield uses three rockets first you fire the two ghorn shots then you use your throwing knife again make sure it has the damage over time perk and as soon as you use your throwing knife reload and fire one more shot.
