Haven't seen this posted anywhere and haven't been able to replicate this myself but a few twitch streamers have said they "[i]heard[/i]" you can destroy Val Ca'aul's Goliath tank before it drops. Supposedly if you were to shoot out the Goliath tank's front left wheel (the front right wheel when looking AT the tank), and do enough damage [b]BEFORE[/b] it lands, it blows up immediately and you're done with it. Again I haven't seen it done successfully but it may be possible with a fireteam all with Black Hammers. This is just one strat: All 3 fireteam members position themselves in high elevation spots while killing the 3rd lieutenant. Once the 3rd lieutenant is dead, whip out your Black Hammers (go ahead and giggle, I'll wait....) and look to the sky for the Goliath tank's drop ship. [i][b]SIDE NOTE:[/b] If you gather the whole team together and use a Bubblebro with Weapons of Light, this would be mo bettah.[/i] As soon as it appears, start shooting the front right wheel (the front left wheel if you were INSIDE the tank) and if all snipers are gud, that tank SHOULD (maybe, hopefully, prolly not but ya never know till you try) be destroyed before or when it lands. Now since this hasn't been done before (I can damage the tank before it lands but not destroy it), I have no idea if hitting the right or left wheel is the key to destroying the Goliath tank before it lands, so some experimentation may need to done. I also don't know if the Black Hammer sniper or the Ice Breaker or a combination of different snipers would work. Heck, if you're up to it, maybe 3 Jellyhorns would do it. Or even 3 No Land Beyonds (go ahead and giggle again, I'll wait...) [b]TLDR: Shoot out the front right wheel of the Goliath tank BEFORE it drops to destroy it right away. Maybe.[/b]
