With religion on the rise worldwide and theory after theory being disproved, why do people still believe in science?? It's 2015, and people still refuse to add purpose to their lives.

If people didn't believe in science the internet would cease to exist. No more chatting online. No more free internet porn. No more browsing dank memes. The world would be plunged into chaos! OH GOD THE INHUMANITY OF IT ALL!
