So I just got my Red Death and I was looking at the Grimoir card for it and was rather disappointed at the lack of information I got from it. I was curious why the Vanguard wanted this weapon destroyed. I figured it had something to do with the previous guardian who had it and I figured the card would have more information on it. It doesn't. All it does it tell me what I already knew... that the original guardian who used it was insane.
Seriously, Destiny's explanation for a lack of a story is to check out the grimoir yet you check out the grimoir and you are no better off. I honestly want to know more about this weapon and its previous user.
Who else was disappointed by the lack of information on this amazing gun and who thinks Bungie should do something about it?

I think it's just more of a use your imagination type of thing. You look at this weapon and you can tell it's not your average pulse rifle. Compared to most sleek and clean looking weapons it's dirty, notched, and generally mean looking. I think Red Death was once your generic high impact assault rifle that some crazy Crucible obsessed Guardian has modified extensively and screwed around with to suit his needs.
