I'm not gay and I try to stay out of it, as some homosexuals get offended when defended by heteros, at least in my experience. Really though, I have no issue. I honestly don't like when another dude is checking me out, no homophobia just kinda uncomfortable, but as long as people stay in their bubble I could care less. I can't fathom a man CHOOSING to like another man over a soft, lovely woman so I have come to the assumption it's just how they are built. I truly think a homosexual person is going to be the way they are no matter what, it's not a choice, it's just how it is. I can't hate another person for how they are, especially when it doesn't affect me whatsoever. Tolerance isn't a common virtue in the world though, so I see it as always being an issue. Humans, despite being so evolved, can scarcely say that we have transcended our tribal nature. Those of us who lack a certain amount intelligence can only behave like the animals we are, so they hate those they don't understand. It's sad really, but what can you do?
