Warlocks, pre TDB, were always chosen over Hunters in LFG raids, for obvious reasons. Hunters are great for Oracles, but not much else. I, for one, got kicked a lot in favor of a warlock. Now, though, Hunters are invaluable for CE, making the warlocks the least appreciated class in CE. It's a matter of class tensions in our differing capabilities.
