Why don't you guys introduce a trading system?
-
Because it would break the game, youre an idiot
-
With the in-game economy growing as it is, a trade system may be necessary. However a specific limitation to consumables and glimmer only, nothing a character class would wear, ride, or shoot. (i.e. materials, strange coins)

-blam!- no to trading. That's just as bad as matchmaking
-
Trade... now...

Yes I would love a trading system. It would be so helpful for lower players. And instead of just dismantling all of your crap you can give it to someone.
-
Yes to trading. I'd play more but that's just me. Others might play less or not at all. But I'd see a purpose to RNG. If I'm lucky getting some things others are unlucky getting, then I can benefit another player as they can benefit me in return. I'd actually do more grinding to try and gain stuff others might want or need to try and get others stuff I wanted or needed.

Oh dear, this would be an extremely bad idea. -It would cause mass resentment amongst the community. Remember when the last DLC came out and everyone who had grinded their ass through VoG suddenly realised it was all for nothing because those who just started were able to get to level 31 without much effort and that pissed some people off. -It would make Raids irreverent and elitist. We have an elitist problem now and you can imagine what will happen. We will have the earned our raid gear as as oppose to traded. It doesn't paint a pretty picture does it and I for one would hate that to happen. As for irrelevancy, again the elite brigade will grind raids for the benefit of only themselves and increasing their already over inflated egos. -People will take advantage of the desperate. There are a lot of people out there who would dearly love a Gjallahorn and I would give my spare to one of my friends whom I play Destiny a lot with in a heartbeat. However, there are monsters out there son who will take advantage of it and gain a certain amount of false power, possibly even real life financial profit. You say you'll do it to help your friends. OK I can see that but yet others will complain that no one on their friends list will trade with them. At least you can't grumble it's random. This week I got nothing but upgrade materials from Crota. Yes it sucks but I'm comforted in the fact he's awarded every raid weapon except the Hunger and the Gjallahorn twice. Focus on the good weeks and you can easily help your friends level up without trading them gear. Just takes more effort on your part.

I agree, just make it so you can only trade between the same rarities. Eg. Exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary.
