This is my thought on why some players don't want everyone to have the same weapons. It's simple pvp players vs pve players cause pve players don't care if everyone has the same gun (in most cases the exception is guardians who have no skill and need to tell people they have a "Max Ghorn" to get into a group) cause it makes doing a raid a little easier and pvp players don't want everyone to have the same guns cause then they wouldn't be "gods" in the arena. The funny thing about it is if you added modifiers to pvp like only hand cannons or no exotics and so on most of these players would fall to the bottom of the pack. From what I have observed in pvp the players with the highest scores simply play with the same OP guns every match and never use anything different cause they have no skill and they are the ones who don't want everyone to have the same guns cause they know if the highly skilled players had the same guns they would lose. Anyway just my thoughts hope you agree and if you don't it's cause you know it's true!
