Would you be willing to pay for exotic weapons and armour on destiny ?
Ghallajorn $4.99
Hardlight $3.99
No lands beyond $0.25
Exotic armour $2.99
Custom shaders/sparrows $0.99
-
Shut up no way
-
Only losers support "pay to win".
-
No, I despise pay to win bs.
-
I wouldn't care as long as they didn't start releasing guns that were only available for sale.
-
Hell no keep this bulls**t out of the game. Anyone who supports 'pay to win' tactics is just a lazy little punk.
-
Why would anyone buy a hardlight????? Rubbish
-
It would be a lie if I said I wouldn't pay $5 for hawkmoon.
-
I don't see a problem with it, as long as it doesn't include exotic weapons or armor. Maybe even just customization items would be best. Otherwise it takes the fun out of finding/earning/purchasing weapons in game.
-
Edited by ironrussell: 3/16/2015 4:04:16 PMNo because they would nerf all items for sale. But I might pay for vault space!
-
STRANGE COINS IS BUYING THEM FROM XUR
-
Would take out the whole fun of the game if I'm honest.
-
Freemium Destiny; HECK NO
-
Do you work for Activision?
-
Leave it too Activision to start having this in Destiny 2.
-
No this is not fifa
-
Honestly a horrific idea but it wouldn't surprise me if it were to happen. It would definitely be enough to make me never pick up the game again at least. I think if this ever came in you'd find Bungie spending a lot of time making shaders, emblems and other vanity items more than anything else. They wouldn't be able to sell them for as much but I bet it'd be a hell of a lot easier to create than weapons/armor and ultimately more profitable. All the while thongs that did actually need their attention would probably be neglected 😐
-
Only like a few $ I would
-
There will be another Xur, called Zur, who only shows up on Monday mid afternoon during the work day for one hour to sell a small random selection of crappy exotics as microtransactions. Of course, if you buy them, you'll likely get them dropped again the next day after reset. Kidding aside, microtransactions for aesthetic items could work, but never for gear and weapons.

Edited by Mitziu: 3/15/2015 4:02:50 AMShaders, sparrows, ghost shells, emblems and ships could work. But honestly if they sell gear/ weapons it'd ruin the game. Instead of saving up coins and doing raids/ nightfalls to try to get exotics you'd just go ahead and buy them
-
Im confused is this destiny moble edition
-
Yeah, I mean -blam!- it, I have ten bucks in my pocket so screw it, looks like i just got hard light and gjally. HOWEVER, this would ruin the entire value system of the game, which would make the game suck, so no.
-
No way!
-
I'd bet good money that Bungie and Activision have already explored this option. Personally I think it goes against the idea of paying for the game initially, if Destiny were a free to download game like Warmind then that would be ok to sell weapons and armour (the developer needs to make money somehow) but since it's not a free to download game then I think it shouldn't be implemented. Unfortunately I think that we will start to see more and more game implement these kind of micro transactions which is only good for the developer not the players. All anyone needs to do is to look at how many games now have dlc's and season passes to see where all this is heading. Just my opinion. Everyone is entitled to theirs.
-
Bad direction...
-
Hell -blam!-in no! No micro transactions ever!
-
Nope. Stupid idea. Altho I would probably buy stuff if it was implimented. Have pretty much every exotic item tho...
