Stop the elitism
People need to get over themselves. This games loot system is entirely based on LUCK. Just because you have Ghorn does NOT make you an elite player. It makes you a LUCKY player. You are not special. You are not better than everyone else. If anything, grimoire is the most accurate skill telling stat. Also, in my opinion, having a weapon such as Thorn or the Mythoclast is more "elite" as you have to do something relativity difficult to obtain it. I'm just irritated that I've been told I can't do certain events or play with certain people simply because I don't have a weapon that you get purely off luck. Btw I've completed Crota on hard without a single person in the fire team having a ghorn.

Haha grimoire is true skill yeah right like I'm going to grind for kills in certain things. And yes we 3 man crotas end an had 2 32s an a lvl 30 on crota hm. I usually solo or 2 man normal. laugh when I see people they need all 32s with ghorns.

Ahmen. The thing is a albeit cool looking glorified javelin (aka guided) missile. To be perfectly honest I want one, yes, but inly cause it looks neat. There are far more interesting weapons out there that are way higher on my list of things I want.

I agree. I think most people who think you need the Gjallahorn to kill Crota have never done it ( I have 3 gjallahorn's). The thunderbird, the truth and Icebreaker can all do the job. The Gjallahorn helps a lot and it's great if one person has it, but not necessary. The most important thing is a cohesive team.

Skill is an acquired trait and working the grind takes time which can be given in the same fashion by even the worst noobs. Nothing in this game is hard no matter how much people want to think it is. I agree 100% man. I have a ghorn, but I'm not a dick about it. This community has become very shitty. Bunch of elitist punks. I don't like them. I have a clan of 8 guys I play with, and I don't like many more than that. Not too fond of most players and their attitudes

The whole game, leveling system, loot, glimmer, marks, it all creates elitism. "Become Legend" people who play more get better, they more stuff and learn to use it. Everyone cry's out "it's random" the random excuse only goes so far now. There is only 3 types of players here. PvPers, people that know what it meant to be level 30 and the rest of you.

When only 40% of players have it, there are enough to make it a "requirement" for Crota, and that leaves the other 60% as undesirable. Even if you have hunger or truth it doesn't matter, they want ghorn. I understand, ghorn is a lot better. But im not going to get ghorn, I know that. I've gotten almost every other gun I've ever wanted and I think that's why it won't give it to me. The only way is to buy a new Xbox one, create a new account, and start over. Kind of pisses me off. [spoiler]yes, even a new console. Hell I'll need to use a fake name and address too, otherwise they will know![/spoiler]

To myself and competing against myself I feel elite I'm alot happy than when I first started destiny since day 1 I played racing games a lot and not first person shooters I died a lot got fustrated could not aim now I would say I'm a lot better and have completed actives within destiny I thought I could never do so in happy and elite within myself against myself not here to trash talk cry or whinge or brag happy to help and have fun playing destiny.

In my opinion, bearing the title of an elitist should be restricted to the best players. These people are the ones who've platinumed Destiny, logged on hundreds of hours and are good at most if not all aspects of the game.

Had an elitist join my raid per lfg last night. My post read " lf1 more maxed ghorn 32 please" we ran one sword (I was a warlock sword bearer) and Crota ate all dps not shield said fu and smashed me, ok it happens. This elitist b&tch boy immediately runs his mouth, "I thought this was 32 Gally only and why isn't a hunter running sword" he then left. We got another person immediately who was not an elitist scrub and defeated Crota the first try with my warlock as swordbearer. My thoughts if you need all 32's and all Gallys you are garbage and need a crutch or r just f&cking lazy it's overkill unless your trying to set some sort of record.
