Red death being sold makes you mad?
Why are you mad that red death is being sold? Now people can be useful on crota hard.
Edit: I'm happy to see none of the people posting so far are salty. Everyone seems to either not care, or truly appreciate Xur selling it.
Edit2: seems like everyone is pretty content with him selling it! I see lots seeing it good because it benefits raid teams!

Honestly it's not even an arguable thing. You don't earn it through anything but Xur. That's it. It's over.
If you grind ROC or Crucible for it, then it's grind. Not earn.
If you get the strange coins necessary for purchase, it's earned.
Ex: if you're walking down the street and you find a 20$ Bill, you didn't earn it. You found it.
If you see a video game you want, and you work on something in order to obtain the money needed to buy it, then it's earned.

I'm not pissed at all. I got mine last week from the Exotic chest in VoG. And I'm happy everyone can now use it. It's amazing for Crota. And every exotic he sells dies down after a week in PvP.

No I'm not pissed at all. It's a great weapon for tough strikes (if they exist) and really good for playing solo. I'm glad everyone gets a chance to use. I was always happy that I was one of the few who succeeded with it in pvp, but oh well.

6 RepliesIf you think red death makes you useful at crota you are either bad or very mistaken... At most it helps players heal the tiny bit of damage they take in the first room. If you aren't the sword bearer, there is 0 reason you should take damage after the first room besides maybe 1 hit from boomers on the way to ogres. If you have better exotics just use Ice breaker or G-horn, you will have one or the other because xur sold IB like candy lately. Just use hand cannons or scout rifles, RD isn't needed.

I just got the Red Death to finally drop this week on Crota and I kept thinking "It' going to take forever to get 2 more for my other characters" and then Xur comes and decides to sell Red Death saving me from the endless grinding and heavy reliance on RNG. Thank You Xur!!! Traveler bless you!

Im happy here selling red death. Its one less excuse for people dying in crota hm! Got my red death 1.0 from atheon a long time ago. Then had to wait to upgrade it. I love it!

I just got red death from Crota on hard a few weeks ago, my first one. And I could care less about Xur selling it. Same goes for the G-Horn, just got that for the first time last night on Crota hard, and still wouldn't give two shits if he sold it :p people who care and complain are just idiots.

I will however put my 4 digits of hours played into purchasing every ballerhorn in xurs inventory until the -blam!- runs clean the -blam!- out. Not because of hate, not because of jealousy but because of 4 digits worth of play time and not having one. I WILL be pissed if he sells patience and time however, because I've got a -blam!-ing stack of shards worth of p&t, including 5-6 in my vault i'm too lazy to dismantle..... don't u -blam!-ing do it xur, don't u waste all the hours crying every week about 'yet ANOTHER patience and time' by making me add tears to the mix when I get a patience off a drop ... again... only to pop into the tower at 4:05 and see more patience and time .... plz don't do this to me.

Lol I don't know why people are so mad. I'm glad more people can have it. I got two dropped to me but who cares. It's a video game and the end result is an easier raid experience for everyone. The tears are real in the forums today lol.
