I have a rare scout rifle that I've been using since I don't have a good legendary one and it's done just as good as a fully upgraded legendary AR. People shit on me until they see how good it actually it is, and it's really weird.

Edited by Zoop: 3/12/2015 8:21:04 PMWell, attack rating is equalized at crucible. So if your gun has a decent impact/stability/rate of fire, it can wreck just as good as any legendary. Legendaries simply have the advantage of having 2 major perks, whereas rares will have only one.

I'm talking about its use in pve. I use it in raids and it has served me well.

Edited by Zoop: 3/12/2015 8:34:55 PMWell, then you are just talking sht (or your friends are idiots/fooling you), rare guns cap at 294 attack, other guns go up to 331. The missing perk and attack stat simply makes them outclassed guns. They are rubbish as soon as you hit lvl20, and you will most certainly wont outshoot legendary gear, no matter what its stats are.
