If you don't get good weapons drops.... Then..... You are a honorary Bungie hamster on a wheel. You will keep trying and tying and trying. Hours, days, months.. Nothing will ever drop, but you keep hope alive.
But, seems like if you are a casual player, if you play here and there, you will get good drops so that the hamsters keep running when they see your new weapon. This seems to be the case.. As most people grinding are the ones that week after week get shards and their 8th icebreaker or bracket.. Maybe next week. No.... You won't get it next week.. You won't get it ever.. So what's the loot system Bungie uses? Not the rumored loot system... Not the myth.. Is your random RNG number based on grimoire? Hours played? Inventory? bungie ID number? Players on your fireteam? Only Bungie knows I guess.. I wish people like Megaman and people like him would do an actual service to the Bungie community, and explain the real mechanics of the Destiny loot system. Instead of exposing that Xur isn't random. Considering Xur is there for the new players of Destiny. Most of us don't care that he has a predetermined inventory list. It would be interesting to find out how it is determined what weapons are distributed and to who. You can keep trying every reset, but it's likely you will keep getting the same exact drops every single week. Which isn't exactly random number generator... Unless you are a alien that rolls the same number on dice every time you roll it.
