Well I dunno about your school but whenever a teacher left the room people would muck about like draw dicks on the board or steal the board rubber or put an open water bottle on the top of the door so when the teacher came in it would spill all over him... and someone was allocated to stand at the door and shout if the teacher was on their way back.
