As defenders we have some paths . Orb factory. . Support tank. Orb tank. Orb support. Striker has lots of things to but I am

The point is?

We are not simple/basic like your biasedness says so. Hunters to me are more or less the survival no matter what . And warlock are offensive supports and we titans support tanks.

But about half the titans I know don't tank

Blah tank as in take more risks than other titans would or maybe well you get what I mean some titans tank damage others don't

That's why the others are scrubs, no need for them to stay back and snipe they're not hunters

Though in night falls even out armor fails us when there is a bad burn

Armour fails anyone on nightfall

I have survived many a fire fight because I use a bit more agility than a normal Titan. Because armor and recovery alone can not save you if your not fast enough to get in cover
