Does switchblade effect how fast you swing the sword?
I've been wondering, does the perk switchblade (increased melee attack speed), effect how fast you swing the sword in Crotas end? Two examples of 32 gear that has/can roll with switchblade to my knowledge are: Mask of the Third Man and Dogged Gage. If nobody knows, does someone care to test this on this glorious day of reset? Thanks!

Not anymore. Now it reduces melee cooldown instead of increasing melee attack speed. Why would you change this perk, Bungie? Now switchblade, the only perk that increases melee attack speed for hunters, doesn't do what it was designed to do, but warlocks and titans still have their increased melee attack speed perks (Snap Discharge and Rain Blows, respectively). Ridiculous to nerf one class but not the others. Makes swordbearing just that little bit trickier since The Taken King dropped.

Yeah any effect that increases melee speed also works on sword/relic

Yes, armour that increases melee attack speed affects the sword.
