Do you know exactly how evolution happened, right down to the last detail? No? Didn't think so.
English
-
Of course not, I never said I was. Ask an evolutionary biologist.
-
Evolution is not hard fact because they are still investigating how it works. The general concepts have been proven, but the specifics are still not set in stone.
-
Theories NEVER become facts, learn how scientific classification works.
-
That's the point I'm trying to make. Also, if you'll look at my conversation with Apollo Spawn, you'll see I'm talking about the concept of evolution and all of its aspects, not just the theory of evolution.
-
Well the thing is evolution itself is a fact. It isn't a theory, because it doesn't attempt to explain anything. Evolution is merely genetic change over time. Now Darwinian evolution however is a theory because it proposes why this genetic change happens and how. A valid theory that has not been disproven, so mentioning that it's a theory does absolutely nothing to refute it in any way, or to even hinder it's validity.
-
And we're simply talking about different things.
-
Well, I don't understand your reasoning behind saying it's "not a hard fact". This statement doesn't belittle is validity in the slightest.
