What causes tension between Hunters and Warlocks??
I've seen the 'floofing about' and 'we taught them to blink' statements on Warlock gear but is there more stuff in the Grimoire? Also, even without the grimoire, I see alot of back and forth between Warlocks and Hunters on a daily basis. Are Warlocks just jealous nerds, are Hunters just stuck up cool kids?
Edit 1: It's funny how the Titans just sit back with popcorn watching all this go down.

Edit 9 - MalPen is the only Warlock allowed to eat popcorn with the Titans...he brought beer.
Edit 10 - It has been speculated that the 'squishy' floofy Warlocks are just pretending to be friends with the Titans just so they can use them as muscle against the Hunters.....the plot thickens

It all comes down to shaders. Hunters have like 4 or 5 shaders that actually look good/decent and warlocks are cross-dressing nerds (I play both warlock and hunter btw share the love)

It all started back when you could push the Templar off the edge. Warlocks were the most usefully and hunters were completely useless.warlocks were cocky and made fun of hunters. Warlocks are head strong and hunters are butthurt/just suck

I play both, both are fun... Climbing the tower and misjudging the door frame in the ogre room can be frustrating on the hunter while both are a walk in the park for the lock. Glide, good grenades, and self rez'ing are good benefits of the lock. Hunter doesn't have anything spectacular, but a lot of smaller advantages that add up (stability, reload, potentially infinite throwing knife). Blade dancing for invisi has its uses to medic and solo certain areas, as well as the only arguably good grenade for hunter. Voidwalker can lay out nukes faster than other classes put out grenades in the ideal situations. Find myself gunslinging more than sunsinging, but both are fun and depends on my mood/situation as to which I favor... I take gunslinger over lock in the crucible, but I'm far from a hardcore pvp'er. Didn't know people argued about classes, should just roll you one of each and play them all. More gear to gain as well as an unbiased opinion about the other classes.

Anyways, to my Warlock and Hunter brethren, hate doesn't cure hate, it just causes more. If you honestly think that insulting someone is somehow gonna make them apologize, you are sorely mistaken. But there will always be hate. There will always be people who have different ideologies, and will always fight and strive to become "the truth" I can't change that. And it makes me sad to see that human nature is such an ignorant and pitiful thing. But life is what it is. C'est La Vie.

2 RepliesFine I'll tell everyone about the actions that took place long long ago in a galaxy far far away... There was once a hero. He name was Titanus. He fell in love with a queen. Her name was Atheanna. He was an Exo and she was human. Atheanna could never bring herself to love a machine that she could not fit in her purse, therefore rejected our hero. Titanus was heart broken for his one true love did not feel the same about him. This tore him apart. He was willing to do anything and everything to get her attention and especially her love. He went searching for answers across the galaxy and came across out traveler. He promised Titanus to make so that his love would love him back. "All you have to do is give me all of your strength." Titanus foolishly agreed. On his way back to his love he began to feel weak and tired but did not pay much attention to it. He finally reaches Atheanna. Titanus collapses and his life begins to leave him. Atheanna walks towards Titanus, "you foolish robot. Your strength is your life and you gave it away. But I will spare your life if you serve me." Before Titanus could answer the last volt running through his body finally diminishes. "Well I'll take that as a yes...Atheon..." Meanwhile in a galaxy far far away the traveler using the strength of Titanus creates 3 being. Honoring the hero's sacrifice he names the first being in his honor calling him a titan. 2nd he creates a being of magic and calls it a warlock then finally creates what he calls a hunter. Always competing for the love of the traveler the 3 beings raged war. Feeling that they could not compete with the titan, the warlock and the hunter constantly fought. This feud carried on to the present for it is in the blood of the warlock and the hunter to despise each other. The end.

Honestly I love it. I love the suggestion of it from little lore there is about it. I'm just wondering if it was a self fulfilling prophecy or just a natural evolution based on how the classes play. I main hunters. I love having the 'locks in PvE, very versatile and good survivability. Chew them up in PvP. I especially love when I GG them, then watch them rage res so I get to GG them again. My only problem is when I hear some not particularly talented 'Lock talking garbage about hunters. So they can float better than we can and res. They bring up the res bit a lot. Titans can't res, so I don't get the issue. If I ran a sunsinger I still wouldn't use res, I'd want to do cooler stuff with radiance than just get back up, strategically or not, after a -blam!- up.
