Those 1011 hours also include sitting at the tower, sitting in orbit or anything else that doesn't directly improve your chances at recieving said weapon. Your individual character hours found in the "Stats" menu are what you should actually count.

I dont waste time in tower or orbit. I play the game not stand around having dance parties in the tower. Indivudal character stats are great if you dont delete characters.

You're also counting the time it takes you to get from 1-20 each time you delete a character (which gives you no chance at an exotic) Destiny loading screens also count towards that. It all adds up. You do not have 1011 hours of efficient gameplay. But by all means keep telling yourself that, I myself am at 1417 hours, never deleted a character and I have 3 Gjallarhorns and ill tell you this, its overhyped..

Regaurdless, 1000 hours is a shit load of hours played to not have one.
